About the owner
Michael Tichow
Michael started Diesel Doctor's in 2024 to branch out on his own after building experience across diesel service, fleet work, heavy industry, and rocket engine production.
Training and experience
Michael graduated from Wallace State with a degree in diesel mechanics, then put that training to work as a diesel mechanic at Woody Anderson Ford and McClary Ford.
From there, he continued building hands-on experience at Vulcan Materials before moving into precision work with Blue Origin, where he builds rocket engines. Michael still works for Blue Origin alongside his Diesel Doctor's work.
Diesel Doctor's brings that background back to North Alabama through mobile repair, diagnostics, performance upgrades, general repairs, fleet support, and gas vehicle service. The goal is simple: clear communication, dependable work, and repair decisions that make sense for the vehicle, the owner, and the schedule.
